In December of 2014 we bought an old house... A 1924 Sears & Roebuck Craftsman style bungalow. Let’s just say, she needed some love. So we started from the inside out on our quest to breath new life into the 90-year-old beauty you see before you here. It’s been a journey filled with all kinds of highs and lows and bizarre twists. We have learned that squirrels can enter your house though the chimney, and that latex paint over oil-based paint will peel from your walls like a scroll. Would you believe us if we told you we’ve been having fun? Well, somehow we have.
It’s been really hard work, but there’s been more growth and gratification than we thought possible. Also, lots of laughs. It has brought us closer to each other and to the friends and loved ones who have helped us in so many ways during the process. We are so incredibly grateful and feel that there is no better way to celebrate our marriage and the life we have started together, than to have you all in our home.
Below you’ll see some of the fun times we’ve had during the renovation process. We look forward to sharing the fruits of our labor with you all in April.
